When He speaks its almost like a wind blowing through the air charged with information and revelation, sometimes its easy to decipher and sometimes its difficult. In any and all opportunities I try to stay vulnerable to His leadings, because if I assume I know what is being said or how and when to release such things, I could miss the entire richness of what is actually happening.
Sometimes we can be so task oriented that we miss the gold in the moment. And the moment is about relationship.
When He is speaking, it’s a relational moment, an invitation to intimacy. Even when the moment is about kingdom business or what He wants to do next, the center of the moment is relational not informational. Sometimes we can make monuments to what He said instead of cherishing the moments in which He is speaking. Its about intimacy, its about him revealing His heart, its about us having the mind of Christ, He is molding and shaping us with every moment that He provokes us to closeness.
Every nanosecond of time with Him is a treasure, its His grace poured out that brings the change that we desire. The more we hang around Him the more we’re going to be like Him. The information is a byproduct of relationship, now before you or I pat ourselves on the back for being in a place of closeness to where we hear His heart and next moves remember this: No one wants the relationship more than He does, Jesus died to show how serious He is about intimacy and how much one on one relationship means to the Father. Its all about Him everyday, every moment, no matter what is being said or what is being supernaturally moved in heavenly or earthly realms… its all about Jesus, and Jesus is all about being one with the Father and the Father is always and forever about His children.
Its all about His grace, this mysterious love and heartbeat of the Father that pours out blessings in ways that we cant understand or articulate sometimes. Even the gift of His presence is a grace filled treasure that takes us from where we are at, at any given moment, and if we open up and simply receive grace we find ourselves lost in the awe of His goodness… AND once we are in that moment we realize we did nothing to earn it, we simply are receiving love. And If we ever walk away from a God moment thinking we did something in some way to invoke Him by our own merit, we have missed the entire richness of that moment all together and we are in danger of creating formulas that we control and manipulate in order to get God to move for us.
Anything that we can produce by our own manufacture, manipulation, or movement is in danger of becoming an item of adoration or focus. Even if it resembles a God thing, we can build empire out of our methods.
Remaining poor in spirit is what will keep us balanced in how we produce fruit. The purpose of a blessed farmer is for the good of many not just the farmer and his family. He produces a good crop that renders the benefit of hundreds if not thousands, every farmer understands that he cannot make a crop appear and manifest on his own power or merit. The source is from God, we simply partner and tend to what He sets out to do and produce. Anything that bears fruit only bears fruit because His presence is upon it. God is the only increase giver, we are simply the receiver. Let us position ourselves as His children, in doing so we walk in our intended identity… the pressure is OFF!
